A couple of corrections/clarifications:
For the dark style question, I should also add that it’s not about these franchises being “darker”. All of the franchises I’ve talked about in this respect aren’t just strictly colorless, gritty, violent and gloomy, and that's not what I'm trying to recapture in my edits. What I’m trying to replicate in my edits isn’t the “darkness”, rather I'm just trying to make them more cinematic. It’s about the texture and the lighting and the type of CGI and all that. My goal was never to just make them look dark and colorless (some of these series also naturally just had less vibrant colors)...
It should be noted that I’m also just limited in how much I can actually alter these things as I don’t have the tools or the skills to do more as I’ve stated in the video. Most of the time they're just experimentations and not definitives. I don't always have a clear idea in my head of how exactly to change something to make it resemble a past style.
For Transformers, I just want to say that I'm not a Bayvers fanatic. I meant what I said in that I merely like the style of those movies. As far as the actual movies themselves, there's definitely a lot I would've changed about them. I particularly think that ROTF was quite messy.
I would say my favorite Sonic personality is just a tie between X Sonic, 06 Sonic and Unleashed Sonic. Not just Unleashed. I like when he has a reservedness and maturity to him and isn't nonstop quippy and somewhat jerkish.
