Yes I finally decided on the last colour for this palette, yay! It fits my current painting needs so well, I'm surprised I didn't go with it from the start haha. Today I'm illustrating a raven flying free, starting to untangle a ribbon and string. The concept was originally from one of my sketches earlier in the year, and I recently plucked it out of the pile to make into a finished piece.

Heya! I go by Daena online, and I'm an illustrator based in the UK. I illustrate animals, characters, and fantasy creatures in a mixture of mediums from traditional to digital. My traditional love is inked lines and watercolours for finished pieces, and my sketchbooking practice is mostly traditional media. I share my sketching practice, art studying journey, and illustration processes across platforms, as well as the realistic ups and downs of creativity in order to connect with (and hopefully help) others. I also love talking about and comparing art supplies so that inevitably pops up from time to time!
