Outrigger Techniques for Kingfish (And Other Tips)
I'm fishing with my friend Leon today on his boat for Kingfish! One thing he does differently is use his outriggers for catching Kingfish. Normally I just use the rod holders on the T-Top that point out to each side. In the past I felt like the release clips weren't smooth enough to get a hook set on the tiny hooks that I use. Today was neat because I was able to see the 6-line spread that he was able to run that incorporate his outriggers. We caught a lot of fish and had a great time trolling live baits for King Mackerel.
