Using Only Artificial Lures for Mahi in the Florida Keys!
We are trolling offshore out of Marathon Key today! We ran out to a spot known as the Marathon Hump’s. It’s where the sea for rises from about 1200 ft to around 500ft. It’s generally a great spot to catch Tuna as well as other fish like Mahi. We are only trolling artificial lures today like the C&H Early Jet and the Boone feather. I have found these lures to be just as effective if not more than natural bait like dead Ballyhoo. I’ll show you my fishing line spread for how we troll these baits in this video.
