Petition to designate November as Veterans Month with Dean Correia
Every November 11th we stop and remember the sacrifices made by veterans and their families. This nationwide moment of reflection on sacrifice, duty and honour bring us closer as Canadians. Oakville North-Burlington resident Dean Correia, thinks that we should do more to educate ourselves and our children on the important role veterans have played and continue to play in ensuring the values that we as Canadians hold close are upheld. I agree with Dean and was thrilled when he asked me to sponsor his petition formally calling on the government to designate November as Veterans Month.
