Statistical Mechanics - Classical Statistics : Maxwell Boltzmann Distribution Law
If the particles of a system are identical but distinguishable, then system obeys classical statistics. Considering such a system of weakly interacting particles, governed by the same Hamiltonian Maxwell Boltzmann distribution law has been discussed. The expression for the occupation probability or distribution function has been obtained. Maxwell Boltzmann distribution law is the basic law on which classical statistics is based upon.
