Classical Mechanics - Classical Scattering Theory : Centre of Mass, Lab Frame, CoM Frame
In many physical problems,the choice of reference frame can greatly simplify the analysis. The center of mass frame is particularly useful when studying collisions or interactions between multiple objects and it allows for a clearer separation of translational and relative motion. The lab frame,on the other hand, is often used for more practical purposes. The concept of center of mass of a system has been also introduced here.
