How to set up your fire pump for the cottage
We have a boat access Cottage 🌲🌳🌳 in a bay that is not serviced by the fire department. Therefore, if a building, a cabin, anything catches on fire or the forest up to a certain extent, we are on our own.
The fire fighters will only come if there’s a forest fire that they deem, important enough to attend. Therefore, we decided to all get some fire pump that we can put right into the lake and fight fires as best as we can.
This video was built so that no one forgets how it works. Please watch it over and over and more than anything communicate with your neighbours practice make sure you know where everything is.
Make sure it works.
Try it every two weeks. Make sure there’s gas. Make sure your house follows fire standards, and get ready to evacuate.
