'Great Unknown' lyric video by Stellar Jays from their debut album, Early Winters
Here’s our song ‘Great Unknown’, the second track from our album Early Winters and the 2nd installment in our 10 part(!) occasional series of lyric videos. This was also our first single released from the album. It's written as a dreamy, upbeat alt-country song, and it it’s the first I wrote in open E tuning which gives (me at least) a vibe reminiscent of the Allman Brothers. Lyrically it's a love song, but it's not a song I could have written in my 20s. It's about how love and your relationships keep growing, evolving and surprising you as time goes by. The scenes from the video were the closest I could find to what was in my head when I was writing each verse and was fun to put together. Enjoy!
