Thanksgiving dinner might not be the same this year but let’s not forget that it’s not only about large gatherings around the table. You can still celebrate and get a taste of Thanksgiving without having too much left overs with these large #Turkey drumsticks. With it’s tender and moist meat with rich, tasty flavor, making for a gratifying meal.
I’ve used my Napoleon Rogue SE-625 5-Burner gas grill for this cook. I started with searing the drumsticks on direct heat for approximately 2 minutes each side then, cooked them for an hour on indirect heat in the middle. During the last 15 minutes of grilling, I’ve basted the #TurkeyLegs a couple of times with the warm sauce.
I’ve pulled them off the grill at an internal temperature of 165 °F and then served with a warm brussel sprouts salad and bbq sauce. Kids were amazed by these luscious jumbo drumsticks.
