We minimise retailers' shipping costs utilising appropriate freight optimisation system and the economies scales we get from the buying power we have with Australia’s largest domestic shipping carriers and also international shipping carriers.
Essentially this is how we do it. We hold the weights and dimensions within our systems for all your SKU's. Once you have receive the order, we perform a 3D cubing and cartonization algorithm which essentially calculates the smallest package to send your order in.
We then use that data to work out which shipping carrier is the cheapest and the most suitable to ship your order and also work out which warehouse is the most cost effective to ship from.
