DJI Mavic Pro Middle Frame Teardown
The reason I purchase another frame is because my fan wasn't turning on. Before I bought the frame I got a new fan. The fan wasn't the problem. I recommend you test your fan before you purchase another one.
I sent my drone to Shenzhen, they told me the cause. And REFUSED to let me purchase a frame. They listed everything that was broken. The bill was over $100. Their were only two things that were essential. The PTZ control panel and the middle frame.
They sent back the drone with no service a week later. Prior to sending it in I broke the vibration absorbing board that holds the camera. A wire hit the grill and deformed the frame in-front of the fan. Not noticeable until you compare the frames side-by-side. I crashed into electrical wires. I purchase the frame on Taobao. Tools I used:
1.5mm Hex ball end screwdriver
1.5mm Phillips screwdriver
T6 Torx screwdriver
60W Solder
0.8 Diameter solder wire
Solder paste
Nail clipper
The two center screws on the bottom cover were slightly stripped, so I used a T6. Make sure to have a T5 just in case the T6 doesn't work, because when I went to the hardware store the owner pulled out two T6 drivers and one of them was too big.
I want to add that I didn't strip the screws. For some reason the hex driver was spinning through the screw. It was fine for the rest.

ORGANIZE YOUR SCREWS INTO THREE GROUPS!
First group (Left side)
Put all your screws for the top cover, gimbal and fan together. The PTZ control panel has four Phillips. Keep that separate from the fan screws. The bottom front screws for the cap are the smallest. Keep that together with the caps.
Second group (Center)
ESC board and bottom core board screws.
Third group (Right side)
Rear legs interior screws and the GPS screw. The exterior hex screws on the rear legs don't need to be removed.
