Grease Pencil Animation: The Royal Express in 3D
This video is about how i made this grease pencil animation in blender with grease pencil and toon shading. In this video I'll walk you through the whole process of how I go about creating this stylized 2d/3d environment from scratch. I used some good reference images to model this NPR scene as well as some good color reference for the final 2d looking 3d render.
after creating this NPR scene, I used toon shading for getting the shadow colors for the whole scene, then I added some light colors for the final toon render. I also did some grease pencil animation with the help of toon shading in EVEE. I used grease pencil to make speed lines for the illusion of moving train.
