Irazu Geomechanical Simulation Software at a Glance
This video explains the major features and physics behind Irazu: a 3D (xyT) and 4D (xyzT) software based on the Finite-Discrete Element Method (FDEM or FEMDEM). Irazu (http://irazu.geomechanica.com/) can model large deformation and fracturing (mode I/II/mixed) of geomaterials (rock, concrete, cement, as well as glass, ice, masonry structures). It is fully hydro-mechanically coupled and can solve highly non-linear dynamic or quasi-static problems. Irazu shows fast computational speed using GPU-accelerated high performance computing technology.
