HANDMADE ON THE RISE is a Kickstarter Campaign that will exist for 30 days.
Monday, January 20, 2014 is the Day Of Submission to Kickstarter and they will give the go-ahead hopefully soon after.
The GOAL is to raise $7000 to move a brick & mortar retail store supported by local crafts people and NEW Hope Enterprises (who employ women on the north-side of Flint Michigan to sew and create income) to a downtown Grand Blanc Michigan site. The owner of the store Breads & Threads, Linette, wants enough cash to put on the table as will allow the sweetest deal possible to give her the longest amount of time (by establishing an agreed upon calendar) to build a customer base and cadre of crafts-people to build and grow into a commercial and artistically successful happy addition to the climate and culture that is Grand Blanc in Genesee County Michigan in the 21st Century.
