How did this rusty mess even cool?!
The rust in this system in this Ford Thunderbird was incredible! 44 year old coolant and sitting since 1985, so I cleaned the system. I put in the water pump, thermostat, heater core and hoses. It almost had completely blocked passage way at the pump.
