• Make sure that all firmware is up to date
• Use a pattern generator to test the highest resolution your system supports
• Reduce the output resolution and timing of the XA-4 in pattern generation mode
• Swap out and test the HDMI cabling using the XA-4's Character Error Detection Data Counting tool
• Check HDMI and Cat cable lengths are within specification range
• Cut out any visible cable ties
• Change the HDMI output and/or input of an HDMI splitter, distribution amplifier or matrix
• Change out the receiver if using HDBaseT, HDMI-over-Cat or IP
• Green screen due to HDCP issues?
• Erratic panel behaviour due to EDID error?
• Pink overlay due to unsupported YUV colour space?
• Problem with HDMI handshake?
• Inconsistency in regards to EDID, HDCP and/or HDMI protocol and sensitivity?
• Suffering IP lock-up in regards to a presentation switch or matrix?
