Cecilio & Kapono - 50 Cents A Song (1977)
Hawaiian harmony folk duo with a beautiful track released as a 45 in 1977. Cecilio Rodriguez was originally from Santa Barbara, CA and played in Waikiki in 1969 with the band Unicorn. Henry Kapono Kaaihue is a native Hawaiian. He went to Punahou on a football scholarship, but his love for music won out. The 2 met up in 1973 sharing an affinity for American folk and acoustic rock. They recorded throughout the 70's.
