In this video, I provide an overview of the development of Windows 8. This is the introductory video to a full video series that explores the development of Windows 8. The development process began in 2009 - the year that saw the release of Windows 8's predecessor, Windows 7 - and ended with the release to manufacturing of Windows 8 in August 2012.
