Introducing fodder plants, algae, mussels, and snails in ponds can efficiently absorb nutrients like calcium, essentially functioning as biological machines. The ideal setup involves a sequence of mini ponds and permaculture water harvesting systems, including wetland plant systems, to gradually clean the water before it leaves the property.
