Ezijak First Impression.
Ironically I had just returned home from a trip and had a major tyre deflation on the M1 near Newcastle with 90kms left to home. It appears that I had run over some debris (there was a council clean up in the area we visited, so reckon I ran over something somewhere) I ended up with 4 large holes and multiple smaller holes on inspection of the flatty. First time I couldn't;t fix a flat in 40 years, tyre was well and truly munted.
I run the Oricom tyre pressure monitors on the tyre valves which alerted me to sudden tyre deflation, very helpful at Motorway speeds. By the time I pulled over the rear tyre was complexity flat. I always carry a 4 tonne jack as well as the OEM scissor jack. I couldn't fit the bottle jack under the car so I had to use the OEM scissor jack. Not fun on the edge of a busy Motorway.
Conspiracy theory here (my mobile was probably listening to all the swearing and cussing, ha), upon getting home and chilling watching my fav YouTube channels an ad popped of the Ezijak. Checked it out, watched a couple of reviews and thought another good item to my kit.
At home I use a 3 tonne floor jack for maintenance and go for the bottle jack when travelling. I will give the Ezijak a use for first responder for issues to see how it works and lasts. I don't need the kit version as I have a 750mm breaker bar and a couple of impact guns on longer trips and also carry a torque wrench. I'll give the compressor a go later as well, I carry a Thumper on long trips and a small compressor is always on board.
