Knapsack Bridge 360° Video. Insta360 X4
Insta360 X4 360° video of the Knapsack Bridge @ Lapstone NSW. The Knapsack Bridge (Viaduct) was constructed between 1863 and 1865 as part of the Zig Zag railway line from Emu Plains to Blaxland. Worth a visit and really easy travel in Sydney. We came down the Zig Zag Walkway which wasn't bad around 30 minutes but two hours return with my bung knees.
This is also a test of the 360° video quality. I went from the Insta360 X2 to the Insta360 X4 and the X4 is far better quality, proximity of objects still gives a funky stitch. The audio form the X4 is usable as well, although a better mic either plugged in with the X4 accessory mic adapter or synced with a stand alone will be better which I will test soon. The 3 metre Insta pole is also to blame as it does have a bit of flex and knocks around. Looking at a better quality pole as well.
I like to use 360° to show the surrounds, here you can have a look at the steps and evaluate if you can hike it, have a look at the bush and check out the bridge in this case. Also good for shoot, get on with what you are doing then reframe later.
