Mindplus AI - Champion of VCCE 2023
An entrepreneurship team led by a Year 4 undergraduate Biomedical Engineering student, CHANG Hing Lam Maurice, won the 😎Champion of The Vice-Chancellor’s Cup of Student Entrepreneurship Boot Camp (VCCE) 2023. A total amount of up to HK$50,000 Project Development Fund has been given to assist their team in refining their project over a 6-month period. They founded a start-up company named Mindplus AI and they use AI to help streamline the eye diagnosis process, tackling prominent issues such as handling low quality OCT scans and improving early pathology detection.
