In windy and hot conditions when Le Pigeon's tune would normally fall apart, the Flying Squirrel stays quite locked in despite the gusts the turbulence. The motors were quite warm, but it was 100 deg F (38C) outside and the camera never shut down due to overheating.
The key here is that using the 6inch prop + 2806.5 1700kV motor combination is now possible with the lighter, fully integrated naked BMPCC4K motherboard. This allows for much smoother flight on windy days and better agility/responsiveness.
