Tying the knot with my better half, Karen, was like mixing sambar with adobo - a delightful fusion that tickled the taste buds of tradition. Diving into the world of sarees and sparkles, Karen embraced the chaos of wedding jewels with the patience of a saint, even sitting through a six-hour Mehendi marathon, a first in our 14-year saga!
Our big day was more of a photo shoot with a side of the wedding. We strutted, posed, and sometimes stumbled down the aisle, with laughter as our soundtrack, especially when a surprise reunion with old friends turned our solemn walk into a comedy skit. Capturing these moments was no small feat, with our photographer doubling as a director for our impromptu wedding reel.
Amidst the fun, we soaked in the sacredness of aarti blessings and feasted like royalty, leaving our guests with happy hearts and fuller bellies. The return gifts were our way of saying, “Thanks for bearing with our photo frenzy!”
For Karen, this dive into new traditions was a whirlwind of joy and laughter.
