At the YONEX Sunrise India Open 2024, Lee Zii Jia (MAS, Paris 2024 Olympic bronze medalist) played a thriller against Japan's rising star Kodai Naraoka. In singles, when the players have conflicting and very distinct playing styles, the match can prove very interesting and dynamic. This is exactly the case here - Lee Zii Jia is an attacking player with steep and powerful smashes, whereas Kodai is defensive and is comfortable playing long, neutral rallies until he gets a concrete opprtunity to take over the attack.
Kodai Naraoka won the match 21-13, 9-21, 21-16.
