In the summer of 2013, in Perpignan, 19-year-old Allison Benitez and her mother, Marie-José, mysteriously disappeared. Suspicion quickly turned to the father, Francisco Benitez, a warrant officer in the Foreign Legion. Officially blameless, he nevertheless hid a secret life and multiple extramarital affairs.
As the investigation progresses, inconsistencies emerge and the net tightens around him. But Francisco Benitez chooses to end his life in his barracks, without leaving any real explanation, taking the secrets of this case with him.
Nearly ten years later, the Benitez case remains one of the most significant criminal cases in France: two missing women, a father with a troubled past, and a truth that seems forever buried.
All information gathered in HRES is subjective and should not be considered as truth. You simply have to accept what resonates within you and keep in mind the experimental nature of the investigative cycles. 🙏🏼
