Intelligent Sensor Management, or ISM™, is METTLER TOLEDO’s digital technology platform for process analytical measurements. Unlike analog sensors that output a signal that is prone to interference, ISM sensors output a robust digital signal that is unaffected by nearby equipment, long cable lengths or the presence of moisture.

Many production processes can be highly detrimental to analytical sensors. ISM sensors are designed to endure process conditions such as high temperatures and pressures.

ISM sensors tell you if they are measuring reliably
ISM sensors feature predictive diagnostic tools that continuously monitor the sensor’s condition. These diagnostics accurately predict in how many days maintenance will be required. If maintenance is not needed, then the sensor is measuring reliably.
