Robust Digital Signal
Unlike analog sensors that output an interference-prone signal, ISM sensors convert the analytical measurement to a digital signal directly in the sensor before sending it to the connected transmitter. Being digital, the signal is unaffected by nearby equipment, long cable lengths, or moisture in the environment.
Predictive Diagnostics
ISM sensors constantly monitor their condition to predict exactly when they'll need to be calibrated or replaced. This data enables true predictive maintenance, allowing you to schedule sensor maintenance for when it will actually be needed - neither early, nor late.
Plug and Measure
ISM sensors carry their calibration data internally. When an ISM sensor's connected to an ISM transmitter, the transmitter reads the calibration and other data, and configures itself appropriately. So the system is ready to measure again in a matter of seconds.
Sensor Calibration Away from the Process
Calibrating sensors at measurement points is inconvenient, time-consuming, and can be hazardous for personnel. With ISM Core software, ISM sensors can be calibrated in any convenient location. ISM Core makes calibration quick and easy. Its step-by-step guidance takes users through calibration as well as other maintenance processes. Calibrated sensors can then be stored and quickly swapped back into the process whenever needed.
