Our 2016 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R has the 5.2L 'Voodoo' naturally-aspirated V8 engine, producing 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. With a Quad-tip Dual Performance Exhaust offering a valve toggle, this engine produces a wonderful rasp throughout the rev range.
Along with a 6-speed manual and a 3.73 Torsen Differential Axle Ratio, the drivetrain and suspension combination in this car is considered to be one of the best offered in a Ford road-going automobile, with plenty of capability both on and off the track.
Independent rear suspension, 2-piece ventilated brake rotors, and Brembo Brake Calipers are some of the mechanical goodies offered on the GT350R.
Interior
The interior on ours is all-black with its cloth Recaro twin bucket seats and matching rear seats, factory dash with all its performance gauges, stereo radio systems, center console with the manual shifter, power everything, Shelby steering wheel, Shelby badging, Shelby Exclusive Trim Package, round out other standard touches for the interior.
Those seats are aggressively bolstered to hold one in place during hard cornering and the aluminum sport pedals, aluminum shifter knob, and metallic trim add to the look and sporty feel about the cabin.
Exterior
This is quite a rare example, being finished in the rarely seen 'Triple Yellow Tri-Coat' Exterior paint shade that is 1 of only 211 made in this color.
It has an Over-the-Top Black Racing Stripe with the sculptured hood with hood-mounted heat extractors, a front air splitter, a ducktail-style rear spoiler, and comes with black alloy wheels shod with high-performance black sidewall tires front and rear.
There isn't much that looks better than a bright yellow Shelby Mustang with styling cues from the 60s.
