I have been chasing a vacuum leak on my car for over 7 or 8 months. I got pulled over, so I ended up parking the car and paying a fine. I have smoked it before, I have also sprayed everything down with brake cleaner trying to get my RPMs to either bog or jump up to indicate a vacuum leak. My friend purchased this smoke detector off of eBay. It cost $200, it runs off of 12 volts that hoax directly to your battery. You use baby oil for your smoke mixture. Make sure you do not overfill the baby oil hopper or you will get baby oil blowing out of your smoke line. I ended up having the smoke machine run for a good 2 minutes or so before I ended up seeing smoke come out of the throttle body boot. The local parts store wanted to charge me almost $90, but I bought it off of car parts.com for 20 something shipped.
