watched the watercolor preview, and find the palettes, architectures, and animations all too beautiful 😲 it feels like a song from long time ago...
Step 1. Roughly outline the character face. Detail is not important in this stage, just make sure the proportion is correct.
Step 2. Layout the color (the mood) you believe suitable for the painting. Try something high contrast and bold. You can try Adobe color themes, but i think it's not necessary when you become more comfortable picking colors.
Step 3. Gradually paint the outline of the face. Give it a 3D dimension with shadow and highlights.
Step 4. Add details to the eyes, as known as the soul. Here you will want to separate the eyelashes into different layers. You may copy the right eye, flip it horizontally over the left eye area. Just use photoshop tool to change the shape a bit ( Edit - Transform - Warp)
