ABOUT ALICE
I am passionate about helping others, as I have struggled to find my path in finance and made many mistakes in getting here. I have learned to fail forward.
My mission is to help others build confidence, understand themselves, clarify their career goals and communicate their value. I want to inspire those who want more in their careers so they don't struggle as I did.
I specialise in helping Asians with non-English-speaking backgrounds professionals as this perceived language barrier often kills their confidence, which in turn gets projected in interviews. Especially I am also ESL being a migrant from Hong Kong, so I know how that feels.
I help my coachees get that job offer by lifting their self-confidence, gaining clarity on self-worth and helping them plan their next career move. I help write an effective CV, prepare interviews confidently, and provide career coaching. The most rewarding aspect is seeing others grow, gain confidence in their abilities and see how they change their career path.
I provide training and programs tailored to individuals on a one-to-one basis, as well as groups and short self-study programs. I have a track record of helping coachees get a pay rise between $10 to $35k+ in base.
I became a career coach because accounting didn't inspire me; believe me, I tried for 24 years to get excited. The fear that stopped me for the past ten years was all in my head. Well, at 45, I leapt to change my career. Scary as it was, it's been the best life decision.
After 20 years of experience in blue-chip corporates as a Commercial Director, General Manager and Head of Commercial Finance, I have built strong commercial and people leadership skills that help my coachees develop their careers.
My superpower is the combination of my commercial, finance and people-hiring background to help coachees accelerate their careers and find their inspiring career paths.
