Amarok EGR cooler leak test
Testing the EGR cooler taken out of my BiTurbo Amarok. I replaced the cooler after being told by a previous service mechanic it was leaking coolant. I thought I would test is hoping to see leaking, and post a video showing the leaking. But there were no leaks😳
Changed it out for no reason it would seem, at least now I have peace of mind knowing there was no coolant leaking into the EGR valve or combustion chambers and I have a new cooler fitted.
A simple process to test, blank off one coolant hose end, fit a quick connect fitting to the other end, then pressurise.
