WERE-BEAST WARRIOR WARS || Altered Beast || Arcade Appreciation #6 (Arcade/MAME)
Welcome to another edition of Arcade Appreciation, where today I'm bringin' you Sega's arcade classic Altered Beast! If you've never seen it before...well, it's got a neat concept: You're a resurrected centurion warrior tasked by Zeus with rescuing his daughter from some underworld noob named Neff. Along the way you can collect power up orbs and morph into a powerful were-beast form. Though, as you'll see, it tends to be REALLY difficult, especially in the later levels D:
Fun fact! This was the original "Pack-In" game that came with the first run of the Sega Genesis/Master System! It would later be replaced by Sonic the Hedgehog after that game released.
I'm also bringing in the "Credit Counter" into full swing with this video, so you'll not only see my total credits used along with the total money spent, but you'll also be seeing it add up as the video progresses.
