2021 12 12 Alfa Romeo Twin Spark Cup in Australia, Round 8 Winton, Victoria Race 4, car 54 DNF
After routinely checking the oil I forgot to put the bonnet pins back in before the race. I was 4th on the grid and was looking forward to some close dicing with 5 of the 7 other Alfas.
There was tiny shards of glass everywhere and fortunately none got in my eyes. It makes me think we should perhaps clear wrap the the inside of our windscreens.
