This tutorial demonstrates how to create your own hair textures using Blender and XNormal. I go through creating the hair particles, then shaping the hair particles, to then creating different maps including an: Alpha, Texture, Normal, Height and Cavity. I sent a polygon to substance painter and marmoset Toolbag to see if the maps worked correctly and they did, so hopefully this helps those who want to create their own textures.
This is the first tutorial I have recorded and hopefully won't be the last. So leave some feedback for me to consider for my next video, and leave a like as it always helps.
Blender and XNormal are both free applications to use, but XNormal is only for Windows.
