I was originally gonna make the Iroh meme for 1K but started this out of pure impulse and decided to use this as my 1K special instead cuz Y E S

Lightning was made in a lab and experimented on and stuff, before he broke out. He then got captured by dragon-fight people and was forced to fight other dragons for entertainment. As a natural pacifist, he refused to fight so he was drugged to make him loose his sense of morality and make him extremely violent. However he, under the influence, killed his boyfriend Ammon. This caused him to, with the power of his guilt and grief, break out of dragon fights.
The Creator then found him, and promised to bring Ammon back. However, The Creator has the tendency to lie...
