Richard Branson: A Dream come true
Billionaire Richard Branson went into space this Sunday aboard the spaceship of his company Virgin Galactic. The trip took about an hour and was successfully completed. Branson is the first millionaire to inaugurate tourist travel into space.
SpaceShipTwo landed in New Mexico about an hour later.
Branson, 70, along with two pilots and three specialists from the Virgin Galactic company reached an altitude of around 88 kilometers. They traveled vertically at three times the speed of sound, which was enough to achieve a few minutes of zero gravity.
