(09.25.09)-- Leading 6-0, the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs looked to move up by two scores following an interception and nice return by senior linebacker Bobby Blaschke. The Chiefs ensuing drive quickly faced 4th-and-1.
Unwilling to run for a yard and the first down, offensive coordinator Jeff Buss then reached into his bag of tricks and called the flea-flicker from the Pioneers 31-yard line.
With the Chiefs offense and passing game struggling to get out of their season-long slump, junior quarterback Skylar Liebzeit hit Ryan Theiler perfectly in stride as the junior receiver not only beat the defense, but made the catch to put the Chiefs up 12-0.
With the Chiefs defense completely shutting down Westfields offense and their prized running back Nic Grant, Wisconsin Dells posted their first win of 2009.
