Finally! This one took a little while but I had a lot of fun throwing attempts at it honestly. I had a looooot of close calls, but the final one ended up actually being fast enough I could have snuck in another zone afterwards! I chose not to but it would have been funny. The speed wasn't the main goal, I was only going for a no pausing no color clear but I have gotten very comfortable with the 23 line setups now. I run through this setup on ZTrix when I'm bored more frequently than I probably should and have gotten my fair share of 23s on there haha. This is actually my 3rd successful 23 in game, in the middle of my attempts I decided to throw one shot at it before bed for fun and figured eh I've failed so many times I wont bother setting up the recording stuff. Just one quick fail before bed. and I ended up hitting the 23 on my first try. I kinda freaked out that I hit it instantly and paused as soon as I saw a guaranteed solve, which kinda soured clip for me... None of the stuff on it I wanted like the key tracker AND I would have to say no pause* even though the pause didn't really matter, so I just kept trying for this clear instead.
This currently puts me at 15th on the leaderboard, maybe my next goal will be going for an Infinitris with an actually decent score lol. I've spent all my time just going for smooth clears or funny kicks, so trying to watch for t-spins or more efficiently hitting Tetrises mid-zone would be good. Even in this run I spend 2 Js and an I getting a bunch of smaller clears just because I currently compartmentalize each piece by itself during the fill, but that could have been a Tetris clear instead with a better ordering. Each attempt I also opened with the Impossibilitris setup, I thought (and still kinda think) it would have been awesome to one-shot both of them in a single run, so I have added another like three or four 22 clears to my resume but never managed to do both at once. I'm not actually sure what the bag RNG would be to pull off both since the endings aren't guaranteed. Maybe I'll keep going for that run at some point too, would be a fun challenge.
