INFINITRIS! (23 Zone lines on Metamorphosis)
My Tetris Effect: Connected dream. Never thought I would pull this off, very happy to be among those to conquer this clear! It took quite a while and a good number of attempts. Most attempts were also quite long, this one was roughly 40 minutes with most of that being spent in ZTrix solving each position. Pauses were frequent and long, and therefore in this clip have all been removed for a more seamless experience. You'll hear where they were though haha. I have 9 clips saved including the initial build, and pieces per clip between chunks of theory were 6-6-3-3-2-2-2-7 lol. My recordings came by taking 1 :30 snippets with NVidia's instant replay, so somehow I think I lost lines 7 and 8 clearing them one piece at a time without bothering to save a full clip. Oops, hadn't considered that at the time. Thats where you get the color inversion too, so surprise bright screen jumpscare instead lol
I think I will try to put together a "behind the scenes" video as well, showing some of the theory behind the moves. since most plays were very short and the clips were the last 1 :30, I have a good bit of the theory done right before each set of moves. Though most of the theory in-between wasn't recorded. As attempts were long and likely to fail, I didn't bother recording entire tries.
Thanks to Electra for their video and tools! Trying to do theory using a spreadsheet or perfect clear finder for the board editing was very painful, and being able to test SRS with real IRS and IHS was amazing. Their run was also the only thing I used as reference for the shape above the board, which of course is pretty important to the strat.
