I've been playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla for a few months now and I really wanted to make Eivor's leather quiver. I think the design is fantastic and fits perfectly with all the things I love about leatherwork. And Eivor is one of my favorite character from the ASC universe.
I started by creating the pattern on Illustrator, then assembled it, and taped it to 2.3mm/6oz vegetable tanned leather. I puched all the holes and then cut all the parts.
I used transfer paper to recreate the design and transfered it to leather using warm watter and a tracing tool. I cut the leather with my swivel knife and tooled it with bevellers of different sizes.
When the leather was dry, I dued it using wated based brown leather dye. I let it dry overnight and painted the silver parts. Then I applied two coats of neatsfoot oil, and burnished the edges with a mix of Tokonole and water.
For the final assembly, I used a 3mm brown leather strap and 5mm coton rope.
Don't hesitate to purchase the pattern if you want to create your own.
