With Blood Comes Cleansing - Hematidrosis (Live Vocal Take)
Ok.....So this is not at ALL a normal style song one would think of for Valentines day XD BUT LET ME EXPLAIN..
Hematidrosis is "a condition in which capillary blood vessels that feed the sweat glands rupture, causing them to exude blood."
If you are not familiar, in the Bible when Jesus was praying in the garden of Gethsemane the night before His brutal crucification, while in prayer over the events that were to come He began to experience this stress induced process so hard due to the immense emotion He felt leading up to this next day. To me, though brutal and dark, this followed by the crucifiction is a POWERFUL reminder of just how strongly Jesus loves us. He would bear through the most insane anguish and pain (physically, emotionally, and mentally) because He loves us so much that He deemed us to be worth the pain. That is the truest example of pure sacrificial love.
Sometimes God allows us to endure hardships in life, even if for a short time, and these arent to hurt us but are to build us up and to allow is to further recognize His love and care for us. I'm thankful for Jesus' pure love that He has for us, and love getting to think about that this valentines day.
