Happy International Armadillo Day!
Happy #InternationalArmadilloDay from our delightful 'dillos! At DZCA, we’re proud to care for Willow and Chaco, our southern three-banded armadillos, and Dillon, our nine-banded armadillo. All three are part of our Animal Ambassador program and live behind the scenes with the rest of our ambassadors. Their care team goes above and beyond to ensure they have everything they need to thrive, including plenty of fun enrichment! Though they live out of sight, they occasionally make public appearances around the Zoo, so be sure to keep an eye out for them during your next visit!
