RC Space Battleship Yamato Plastic Model Underwater Special Effects: A Grueling Solo Shoot, YAMAT...
This is a special effects underwater drone video of the RC Space Battleship Yamato. The Yamato was mounted on an underwater drone and filmed in a lake. Filming took place at the end of November 2023. After finally finishing organizing the footage, it took over six months to release in May.
Using the data from that shoot, we modified the mounting system for ocean use and filmed in the sea, releasing this video in late December.

The preliminary testing in the lake proved useful.
We considered the type of action camera to use and the mounting method, and based on that experience, we created a new camera mount.
The underwater scenery in the lake has a different atmosphere than the sea, so we're thinking of filming there again in the winter.
We'll use the FIFISH for one day and the C-DOCK for one day. We plan to spend two days filming the lake video as well. Furthermore, if the schedule allows, we'd like to film the Yamato in action using an underwater drone, and simultaneously film the aerial footage.
The next filming will be after winter arrives and the water clarity improves in both the sea and the lake.
I'll need to do some physical training before then.
The rest depends on the schedule and weather. It's pretty much up to luck.
