A world bike trip – that's exactly what Daniel has been doing for three years because he was unhappy in his "standard" job in Germany and was struggling with depression. His time in Afghanistan was particularly intense. He encountered many people, kind encounters – but also poverty and oppressed women. How do you deal with seeing so much suffering? How do you react to it, and how can you process it all when you never have peace and are alone because you're constantly being besieged by everyone? Oleg meets Daniel in Kyrgyzstan and accompanies him for part of his world bike trip to learn how Daniel deals with the challenges of his world trip against depression. Love has also played a major role on the journey... What does it do to you when you're constantly on the road and fall in love while traveling? Does Daniel stay with his woman for love, or does the journey continue for him?

Here's Part 1:    • Weltreise gegen Depression? In Kirgisistan...

This is #TheQuestion:

There are these big, tricky questions that have no easy answers: Why do we bully? Why do we let animals suffer? Do we drink too much? Or: What does porn do to us?
Our team and we are interested in questions that directly relate to our lives, but also topics that are important to all of us and are often only discussed superficially.
We search for answers to these questions, week after week – openly, honestly, and independently. We don't meet experts for this, but rather we are there: at the slaughterhouse, at the swinger party, while proselytizing in the pedestrian zone.
And because we want to get to know as many perspectives as possible in our search, one question always occupies us for several weeks. In the end, we want to provide an answer, even if it's not easy for us.
With each video—but especially in the discussions with you—we get a little closer to answering the big, tricky questions.
