A look at a Pill Cutter. I got one the other day and used it to cut one type of pill (Carvedilol). The pill cutters I saw cost less than $10 and the one I got seemed to work OK.
Talk to your doctor before you decide to change your medication.
Also, it appears you should not cut an enteric-coated tablet.

Enteric coatings stop the pill being dissolved in the stomach, so it survives to dissolve later in the gut. If you damage the coating, it'll dissolve in the stomach, which, for these pills, either stops them working, or can be dangerous."
