Deep Dropping For Tilefish
While down in the Florida Keys this summer we were able to do some deep dropping for tile fish! Today we caught some Blueline Tilefish using our Tanacom 1000. We used a mixture of cut bait and squid with lights and a 4lb window weight. The key is to pay attention to your rod as you drift. When you get a bite Mark the spot and if the fish doesn’t get hooked on that drift go just ahead of the spot and drift again and often the fish will hit again.
