Val di Non, Trentino in October 2023
Val di Non is most famous for its apples, Golden Delicious and Red Delicious.
The largest municipality of the valley is Cles, which is situated on a steep bank of a large artificial lake (lago di Santa Guistina). The valley has a rich history, numerous medieval castles such as Castel Thun, Cles, Valer are located around the lake.
San Romedio is the patron of the valley. The 900-year-old sanctuary dedicated to him is situated on a steep rock. A bear called Bruno lives in an enclosure next to the sanctuary.
